- Cleaner applicants: contact details, service areas, experience, availability, insurance status, and, with separate written consent, background-check results from a consumer reporting agency.
- Payment information: payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
- Automatically collected: basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring site, collected by our hosting provider and any privacy-friendly analytics we use.
How we use information
- To respond to booking requests, confirm prices, match you with an independent cleaner, and schedule and complete services.
- To process payments, payouts, refunds, and re-cleans.
- To review cleaner applications and verify eligibility, including background checks and insurance.
- To send service messages (confirmations, reminders, follow-up and review requests). Marketing emails are sent only where permitted, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
- To protect our clients, cleaners, and platform, prevent fraud, and comply with law.
How we share information
- With the independent cleaner assigned to your booking, limited to what they need to perform the service.
- With service providers who help us operate (for example, website hosting, booking software, payment processing, email delivery, and background-check providers), under contractual confidentiality obligations.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
