"Standard" and "deep" are the two cleaning types people ask about most, and the names don't say much on their own. Here's exactly how they differ on Sonoran Gleam, what each costs, and a simple way to choose.
The short answer
A standard clean maintains a home that's already in good shape: kitchens, bathrooms, dusting, and floors. A deep clean resets a home that's built up grime, adding detail work on baseboards, door frames, cabinet fronts, fixtures, and hard water.

When a standard clean is enough
- Your home was professionally cleaned within the last four to six weeks.
- You keep up with day-to-day cleaning and want a professional refresh.
- You're on a recurring plan and the home is already in good shape.
When you need a deep clean
- It's your first professional clean, or it's been more than a month or two.
- Monsoon season just ended and dust is in every track and fan. See our haboob guide.
- Shower glass and fixtures have visible hard water buildup. See our hard water guide.
- You're hosting family for the holidays or getting ready to sell.
- You're starting a recurring plan and want the first visit to set the baseline.
What about move-in/move-out cleans?
A move clean is a deep clean for an empty home, plus inside cabinets, drawers, appliances, vanities, and closets. It starts at $670 for a typical 3-bedroom home. If you're moving, book a move-in/move-out clean instead of a deep clean.
The smart combination
Most of our clients do this: one deep clean to reset the home, then a biweekly recurring plan from $267 per visit to keep it there, with another deep clean once or twice a year. In Arizona, spring and post-monsoon fall are the most popular times.
Still not sure?
When in doubt, start with a deep clean. If you book a standard clean for a home that needs more, your cleaner may not get to everything in the time available. Your exact price is confirmed in writing before your clean either way.

Is a deep clean worth it?
If your home hasn't been professionally cleaned in a month or two, yes. A deep clean removes buildup that a standard clean isn't designed to tackle, and it makes recurring visits more effective.
How often should I get a deep clean?
Most homes benefit from one or two deep cleans a year, often in spring and after monsoon season, plus regular standard or recurring cleans in between.
Does a deep clean include inside the oven and fridge?
Not by default on Sonoran Gleam. Inside the oven and fridge are add-ons. They are included in move-in/move-out cleans.
